In 2025, Melissa and Monte left sunny California for the greener pastures of Pittsford, Vermont, bringing with them a passion for local, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients. As part of their farm-to-table vision, they took over Sunny Day Scoops and expanded beyond ice cream to create Vermont’s first and only mobile bone broth catering truck.

Our charming ice cream cart is fully customizable for weddings, birthdays, parties, and celebrations of all kinds—and in warmer months, you’ll find us scooping Vermont’s own Wilcox Premium Ice Cream at local events across the state.

When the seasons shift, our converted horse trailer transforms into a cozy mobile kitchen, serving nutrient-rich bone broth crafted from local ingredients, many grown on our own farm. Inspired by their own wellness journeys—Monte’s recovery from joint pain and Melissa’s need for a sustaining meal during long days in wine cellars—the couple perfected a broth brimming with protein, collagen, electrolytes, and amino acids like glutamine and glycine. Known to support joint, digestive, and bone health while boosting immunity and hydration, this is broth with purpose.
